Stacks is a decentralized computer network that provides developers with a complete stack for building decentralized applications. So far, more than 100 decentralized applications have been created in the network. With Stacks , developers no longer have to run servers and databases: applications write data to private data lockers that are controlled by the user. This decentralized storage system offers performance comparable to conventional cloud storage and requires little effort for encryption / decryption. The authentication protocol eliminates the need for connections based on known passwords be less secure than cryptographic authentication. Users can use a single account for all services and applications, eliminating the need to constantly create new accounts for new services. Stacks development libraries make it easy to develop decentralized applications on this platform, such as building traditional internet applications.
