Delegated Proof of Stake, where the actors are the following: (A) Validators: the ones who confirm the transactions and validate the blocks, also depositing a certain amount of LOOM tokens to guarantee their correct behavior. (B) Delegants (also referrable as Stakers): those who deposit a certain amount of LOOMs in the stake of a Validator, increasing its size and therefore its ranking. Deciding to which Validator deposit sums in stakes, is a delicate choice because in the case of his incorrect behavior all tokens would be confiscated, even those of the Delegants.
